Violin and Viola Lessons

I offer violin and viola lessons for students starting as young as 3 through adults. All students receive weekly private lessons and participate in group classes, studio classes, and recitals.

Currently enrolling new students for Fall 2026!

  • Dr. Suzuki believed every child can learn music to a high level given the proper environment. The Suzuki Method teaches music in the same way children learn language, emphasizing listening, repetition, encouragement, and parental involvement. Parents/guardians learn alongside the student and support practice at home.

All Suzuki lesson tuition includes a weekly group class. In group classes students learn from their peers, become members of a welcoming musical community, and learn ensemble skills.

For more information on the Suzuki method, see the Suzuki Association of the Americas website.

  • I love helping adults explore the violin or viola, whether you are returning to the instrument or picking it up for the first time.

Tuition for adult lessons includes a monthly studio class where adult students perform for each other in an informal setting, and share feedback and ideas.
