  • Lessons conveniently take place at your home. I also teach at the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara.

    I cannot privately teach students with whom I already have a relationship at the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara, or who have been referred to me by the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara.

    I am happy to teach students who are referred to me outside of the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara at your home or at the Suzuki Violin School of Santa Barbara, pending schedule availability and student preference.

  • Because I travel to students for lessons, tuition rates vary by location and lesson length. Tuition is billed monthly, with a discount offered for multi-month payments. I also offer a sibling discount. Please contact me for current rates and availability.

  • Yes! I have extensive experience with online lessons, and am happy to work with students online.

  • I offer trial lessons at a discounted rate in a package of 3 lessons over the course of 3 weeks. I do 3 lessons, so I can get to know the student and vice versa. Please contact me to purchase and schedule a trial lesson package.

  • Parent/guardian participation is required in lessons for all students under 10 years old.

  • At the first lesson, we’ll get to know each other and you can share your goals for learning an instrument. For young students (ages 4-8), all you need is a notebook and pen. For older students, I will probably recommend you bring an instrument to the first lesson. If you do not already have an instrument, please do not purchase or rent an instrument without talking to me first.
